I’m Brantley Merritt, a visual artist born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. I’ve always been drawn to creating, especially through drawing and painting, and I continue to explore ideas through experimentation.

I tend to see the world through a lens of pattern, rhythm, and visual detail. That perspective naturally finds its way into my work. My process is intuitive but also careful and deliberate. Many pieces begin with simple sketches and slowly develop through attention to composition, color, and form.

I enjoy being patient and diligent with each piece. For me, every work becomes a small capsule of effort and focus, a moment of creation shaped by time, attention, and curiosity.
